Our Standards

Ethics Policy

The International Post is committed to high journalistic standards for staff, contributors, and freelance journalists.

Our newsroom operates independently from commercial, political, and institutional interests. Advertisers and outside parties do not influence editorial decisions.

Journalists must disclose possible conflicts and may not accept gifts or compensation from sources or subjects of coverage.

Factual claims are verified through reliable sources before publication. Data and scientific claims are checked against primary records, peer-reviewed research, or recognized institutions.

When information cannot be independently verified, we explain the limits of sourcing to readers.

We correct errors promptly and transparently. Material corrections are noted clearly on the affected article.

Readers are encouraged to report errors by contacting corrections@theintlpost.com.

Editorial staff disclose financial interests, relationships, affiliations, and prior roles that could affect coverage.

Editors review disclosures and reassign work when needed to protect the integrity of reporting.

We protect confidential sources using secure communication and document-handling practices.

Anonymous sourcing is granted only for information of significant public interest and requires senior editorial approval.
